A: Please ensure you contact our support team at least 24 hours before your appointment if you need to cancel your appointment at healthscreenings@wearekatalyst.com 

A: Yes, our staff would be more than happy to reschedule your appointment for you. Please send an email to our support team at healthscreenings@wearekatalyst.comwith the relevant details.

A:

Once you have booked an appointment online you will receive an email confirmation of your appointment slot. You will then attend your appointment, face to face, on your chosen day with our registered nurse. 

When booking your appointment, you will be asked a series of pre-appointment questions so that our nurses know more about you such as any medication that you might be taking, your family history and lifestyle questions.

A: This will depend on which test you are having, please see our website for recommended details about each test. 

A:  Your appointment will be carried out with one of our NMC registered nurses

A: You will receive your results during your appointment as we are using state of the art testing equipment that uses a fingerprick blood sample and only takes a few minutes to display your results. We can also email a copy of your results to you. 

A: If any of your results are either too high or too low, our nurses will be able to give you further advice and will recommend that you see your GP. Our tests are not a replacement for visiting your GP. 

A: Please send an email to our support team at healthscreenings@wearekatalyst.comwith your details and we will get back to you within 12 hours. 

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer our tests to anyone under the age of 18.

A: All of our tests require just a simple fingerprick blood sample to be taken.

A: Our nursing team will ensure that your fingerprick sample is taken correctly to minimise any pain. Your finger may be a little tender following your test. 

A: Unfortunately we do not offer student discounts at present 

A: If you are feeling unwell on the day of your appointment, you should re-book your test as it could affect your results. Please contact our support team who will help you to re-arrange your test: healthscreenings@wearekatalyst.com

A:  If you have been diagnosed with coronavirus you should not attend your appointment. If you feel unwell (e.g. a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste) then please self-isolate and following the NHS guidance at: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/main-symptoms/ 

A:  Yes, our nursing team are NMC registered and are qualified to explain your results to you. If they feel that any of your results are too high/low they will recommend that you make an appointment with your GP.
