Negative COVID test results come with an approved Fit to Fly certificate with a QR code, available by App and PDF form. Please review the COVID test entry requirements for the country that you are traveling to here

Most countries accept PCR test certificates as sufficient proof, some countries will also allow a Lateral Flow Test result, however, this is rarer. These tests are known as Fit to Fly tests.

At Katalyst Health, we offer both PCR tests and Lateral Flow tests in a variety of service levels.

Frequently Asked Questions

PCR COVID tests are the most accurate COVID tests available to the wider market. PCR tests are 99% accurate in determining the presence of COVID-19, and as such, are widely accepted across the world as proof of not carrying COVID-19.

We operate appointment-only clinics across the UK, simply book your COVID test via our website at a location and time convenient to you. Our fastest service level is 5 hours from the end of your appointment slot. So if your slot is at 09:00-09:15, we will get you your results by 14:15. The test results will be available to you by App and emailed by PDF.

COVID-19 Fit to Fly certificates are proof that the person named on the certificate has tested negative for COVID-19. We are a government-approved supplier of COVID-tests, as such our COVID test certificates are the highest standard of proof you can acquire for traveling.

Appointments can be canceled or amended up to 1 hour prior to arrival. You can amend or cancel your booking via the link in your appointment confirmation email, or by logging in to your account. COVID test bookings canceled at least 1 hour prior to arrival will receive a full refund.

At Katalyst Health, we run our own laboratories across the UK. Ensuring that at all times we are in complete control of your experience. After your test swab sample is taken, it will be collected by one of our express couriers and taken to a local laboratory for processing. Processing times vary according to the level of service you have booked.

Upon receiving confirmation of a negative COVID test result, you will be provided with a test result certificate confirming your negative status. 

On your Fit to Fly Certificate will be:

  • Your full name (as displayed in your passport)
  • Your date of birth
  • Time and date of your COVID-19 test
  • Passport or Identity Card number (as provided during booking)
  • Unique Test ID
  • Katalyst Health information
  • Test Method
  • Test Manufacturer
  • Test Result
  • Issued By
  • Approval Type

Katalyst Health has an obligation to report all positive COVID-19 test results to the UK government. If your result is positive, your name, date of birth, phone number, address, and gender will be supplied to Public Health England.

Those with negative results will have their data stored in a GDPR-compliant manner. Any personal details added to your Yoti ID (the app we use) are encrypted into unreadable data and safely stored in the Yoti database. Only the user has the key to unlock their encrypted details.
